This weekend saw the launch of the first-ever VidCon London, and Nickelodeon UK made sure to kick things off in slime-tacular style by bringing along their famous SLIME-ULATOR!
VidCon London 2019 took place between Thursday 14th - Sunday 17th February 2019 at ExCeL London, and was one of the world’s largest events for fans, creators, executives, and brands who are passionate about online video and building diverse communities.
As part of the four day event, the Nickelodeon stand treated attendees with the chance to get an famous Nickelodeon sliming, the ultimate badge of honour! Amongst the many people stepping up to get covered in Nickelodeon's famous gooey substance were internet sensations Max & Harvey, Joe Tasker (aka TaskerJoe) and Simply Luke!
For Simply Luke's sliming, Nickelodeon UK asked its Instagram Stories followers who they would like to see slimed: Simply Luke or George Mason (aka GeorgeMasonTV), with Luke winning with 58% of the vote.

The Norwegian pop duo and 17-year-old twin brothers Marcus and Martinus Gunnarsen (better known as M&M) will be voicing beaver brothers Gus and Cooper in the Norwegian version of Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies' upcoming animated family-friendly film, Wonder Park!
In the US-English audio track of the movie, Gus and Cooper are being voiced by Kenan Thompson (All That, Kenan & Kel, Good Burger, Saturday Night Live) and Ken Jeong (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Bob’s Burgers), respectively. Marcus and Martinus will join Espen Beranek Holm, Håvard Bakke, Milla Barr Kongsteien, Cathrine Bang Norum, Ine Jansen and Christian Skolmen on the Norwegian (Norsk) audio track of the movie.
"The characters suit us perfectly. Getting to work on such a movie was cool. You have to bring the characters alive and I think we did well," said Martinus. His brother Marcus also praises the film and thought the dubbing was fun, adding "it was different than being in the studio and making music, but very exciting."
Locally titled Drømmeparken, Wonder Park will be released in cinemas across Norway on Friday 12th April 2019, just in time for the Easter school holidays! The movie is being distributed by United International Pictures (UIP) in Norway.

When the park of her dreams needs saving, only June’s imagination can bring it back to life.
A tribute to creativity, Wonder Park tells the story of 10-year-old June, a wildly imaginative young girl who builds models of amusements parks with rides like the Skyflinger, Fantastic Fish Carousel, and Zero-G-Land with her mother. When June gets older, she starts to lose her sense of wonder and begins to shun her childhood ideas, including the idea of the park, packing away her models away. Nevertheless, her childhood catches up with her!
One day whilst exploring deep in the woods, in a magical moment, she discovers a roller coaster car buried under ivy. It transports her to a fantastical wonder park, like the ones she used to build, populated by animals who were its past employees. But the park is broken down, abandoned and in a state of decay.
June soon rediscovers the wonder of her world, and teams up with a whole host of talking animals to restore the park to its full glory, complete with spinning contraptions and inverting roller coasters, all whilst contending with a invasion of a army of cheeky chimpanzombies looking to stir up all kinds of destructive mischief.
The US version of the movie includes Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Rules Don’t Apply, The Producers) as Dad, Jennifer Garner (Nine Lives, The Tribes of Palos Verdes) as Mom, Kenan Thompson (All That, Kenan & Kel, Good Burger, SNL) as Gus, Ken Jeong (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Bob’s Burgers) as Cooper, Mila Kunis (Family Guy, A Bad Moms Christmas) as Greta, John Oliver (The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, live-action Lion King) as Steve, Ken Hudson Campbell, who voiced Boomer the Bear, Sofia Mali as Young June, Brianna Denski (Momsters: When Moms Go Bad) as June, Oev Michael Urbas as Banky, Norbert Leo Butz (Bloodline) as Peanut, Kate McGregor-Stewart as Aunt Albertine, Kevin Chamberlin as Uncle Tony, Kath Soucie (Rugrats, Hey Arnold!) as Bus Counselor Shannon, and Noen Perez as Chatty Kid.
The UK audio track of the movie features mostly the same voice talent, with a few changes: Iconic British voice talent Tom Baker (Doctor Who, Little Britain, Monarch on the Glen) will voice Boomer the Bear and YouTube sensations Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee will voice beavers Gus and Cooper!
Experience the wonder of Wonder Park in theatres and RealD 3D in the US on March 15th and in 2D and 3D cinemas in the UK on April 8th!
The PG-rated film is written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows) from a story by Applebaum (Origin), Nemec (Knightfall), and Robert Gordon (Galaxy Quest). Appelbaum, Nemec, and Kendra Haaland serve as producers, with Karen Rosenfelt and Don Hahn executive producing. The movie is being produced by Paramount Animation, Nickelodeon Movies and Ilion Animation Studios. A director has yet to be announced for the movie.
Wonder Park is scheduled to roll into theaters on Friday, March 15, 2019. An animated television series based on the film will also debut on Nickelodeon in 2019.

Tiffany Haddish will soon be gaming up for a physical challenge.
The Night School actor, in addition to snowboarding Olympic gold medalist Shaun White and Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, will be featured in upcoming episodes of the second season of Nickelodeon’s hit game show Double Dare, Page Six has revealed!
Tied to Nickelodeon's Kids’ Choice Awards 2019, Double Dare will have themed episodes airing from Monday, March 11th through to Thursday, March 14th, 2019 during a special Double Dare Kids' Choice Week, which will include Wentz, whose band is nominated for Favorite Music Group, and actor Joel Courtney, star of Favorite Movie nominee, The Kissing Booth. One episode from the week will have teams named "The Game Changers" and "The Rock Stars".
Episodes featuring Haddish, White, chef Duff Goldman, and singer Ally Brooke will also air on Nickelodeon later this year.
This year’s Kids’ Choice Awards, hosted by DJ Khaled, will take place on Saturday, March 23, at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California, and will broadcast live on Nickelodeon USA and YTV Canada. Within hours of the live show, KCA 2019 will roll-out on Nickelodeon channels internationally, providing kids around the world in more than 170 countries and territories the opportunity to tune into their local Nickelodeon channel to enjoy Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2019 and experience stunts, surprises and slime at every turn!
Fans can cast votes on the official Kids’ Choice Awards website, KCA2019.com, and on the Screens Up app on supported iPad, iPhone and Android devices in the US. International fans can also cast votes through the Nick Play app in regions where it is available. Fans will also be able to cast their vote through social media on Twitter, and for the first time ever, Nickelodeon will be enabling voting on specific posts on Instagram.

The 33-year-old former Universal Champion, who is currently on leave from WWE while battling leukemia, will return to television in the brand-new Cousins for Life episode “A Farewell to Arthur?”, premiering Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nick USA. In the new episode, Reigns plays Leaf’s neighbor Rodney who is angry that Leaf’s pet pig Arthur (Sally Sue) dug up his vegetable garden. However, Stuart (Dallas Dupree Young), Ivy (Scarlet Spencer), and Leaf (Micah Abbey) discover there’s more to the story and come up with a plan to save their beloved pig.

Reigns (real name Joe Anoa’i) has been off WWE television since announcing on Monday, October 22, 2018 that his leukemia had returned and relinquishing the Universal Championship. His Cousins for Life role marks his first television appearance since announcing the news.
The Nickelodeon spot is not The Big Dog's only upcoming acting role. It was revealed last month that Reigns has a role as Hobbs' brother in the Fast and the Furious spinoff "Hobbs & Shaw." Hobbs is played by Reigns' cousin Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who stars alongside Jason Statham in the movie. The two roles will be Reigns’s first in projects not produced by WWE.
After his role in the film was announced, Reigns wrote about his battle with leukemia and how spending time with Johnson in Hawaii filming the movie has helped him: "The time I‘ve spent with my cousin on this wonderful island has truly been a healing grace. I am grateful to the @wwe @therock @universalpictures and everyone on the set of HOBBS & SHAW, for allowing me to be a part of this franchise.
"All of your outreach and support has been a blessing and it’s only pushed me to get back in the ring as soon as possible.
"But until then...I’m excited for this movie to premiere this summer, our culture and mana in this film is strong!"
On Monday’s (March 25, 2019) Raw, Reigns revealed the amazing news that his leukemia is back in remission! Reigns even got back to action a little bit, coming to the aid of former Shield teammate Dean Ambrose.

Diversity, Max & Harvey, Jess Folley and Roadtrip Join Slimefest as Resident Acts!
Following the huge success of last year’s shows, Diversity, Max and Harvey, Jess Folley and Road Trip will be returning to SLIMEFEST 2019!
Acts will perform at all shows at The Arena, Blackpool Pleasure Beach alongside hosts Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely
London, 4th March, 2019 – Iconic dance group Diversity, social media stars and singers Max & Harvey, The Voice Kids Winner Jess Folley and YouTube sensations RoadTrip are announced as resident acts for Nickelodeon’s SLIMEFEST in partnership with VisitBlackpool! Hosted by Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely from 20th - 22nd October at The Arena, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, the resident acts will perform across all six shows over the weekend (13:00 and 18:00 showings).
Filled with SLIME, MUSIC and MAYHEM join Nickelodeon for the biggest and slimiest event of the year in Blackpool! Packed full of top music acts, special guests, your favourite Nickelodeon stars and most importantly, SLIME!

Diversity members Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely have a longstanding relationship as presenters with Nickelodeon UK, from hosting their own show Jordan and Perri’s Ultimate Block Party in 2013 and performing with Diversity at the Kids’ Choice Awards UK nomination shows.
Max and Harvey said “We are so excited to be coming back for SLIMEFEST 2019! We can't wait to see our fans and hang out with the other artists. We're ready to see everyone get slimed!"
Max & Harvey's refreshingly fun and authentic sound has connected with fans across the globe. The 16-year-old Berkshire based twin brothers have been singing and playing instruments from an early age. They came to prominence three years ago, posting covers of their favorite songs, as well as their own original songs, on their social media platforms. The duo have just been nominated for "Favourite Social Music Star" in Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2019, and fans can vote for them to win the orange blimp now at kca.nick.co.uk.
Road Trip said: “Slimefest 2019 is going to be amazing, we can’t wait to perform for you all over the weekend – we’re excited to be back in Blackpool – see you in October!”
RoadTrip’s online presence has grown so fast in the UK, due to RoadTrip TV (YouTube) that without ever doing a single show, they sold out their first ever headline Tour playing across the UK and Ireland. Unsigned and completely independent the boys have scored CBBC TV show appearances and played Big Gig Wembley and last year’s SLIMEFEST.
Jess Folley said: “I’m so excited to be singing for you all at SLIMEFEST, it’s going to be amazing and I can’t wait to get slimy!”
Jess Folley is a young singer/songwriter who shot to fame when she won the first ever series of ITV’s The Voice Kids. She released her first single “Chasing Shadows” last year and she is currently working on her own EP to be released later this year.
