POWER RANGERS STAGE SHOW AND FAN EXPERIENCE TO U.S. AND CANADA
PAWTUCKET, R.I. (FEBRUARY 15, 2019) — Los Angeles-based Kilburn Live and Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS), a global play and entertainment company, announced today that Kilburn will produce and tour a live stage show and fan experience featuring Hasbro’s POWER RANGERS across North America.
The POWER RANGERS live show will expand the POWER RANGERS storytelling with a live stage experience intended for Power Ranger fans of all ages.

The news comes on the heels after a postponed live tour that the franchise attempted in 2018, called Power Rangers Live!. Power Rangers Live! was one of the final projects launched under Saban Brands, the previous owners of the Power Rangers brand, to celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary. The project’s conception sadly never made it to fruition.

The multi-award winning SpongeBob SquarePants Musical has announced its next National Tour stop - Oklahoma City! This further confirms previously announced plans for a tour of the U.S. during the 2019/2020 season.
The The SpongeBob Musical will be stopping at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City, OK where it'll play eight performances between Tuesday, November 12 – Sunday, November 17, 2019 as part of the Civic Center Music Hall's OKC Broadway season, a presentation of The Nederlander Organization and Civic Center Foundation!
Inspired by Nickelodeon's hit animated series of the same name, SpongeBob SquarePants explodes with energy and features an original pop and rock-infused score by a legendary roster of Grammy® Award-winning songwriters. Led and conceived by visionary director Tina Landau (2018 Tony Award nominee) and a Tony Award®-winning design team, the production brings the spirit of SpongeBob to life with humanity, heart, and pure theatricality.
The stakes are higher than ever as SpongeBob and all of Bikini Bottom face the total annihilation of their undersea world. Chaos erupts. Lives hang in the balance. And just when all hope seems lost, a most unexpected hero rises up and takes center stage.

The critically acclaimed SpongeBob SquarePants musical was named Best Musical by the Drama Desk Awards and Outer Critics Circle and earned 12 Tony Award nominations - the most nominated musical of the 2017-2018 theatre season - including nods for Best Musical, director Tina Landau, book writer Kyle Jarrow, title player Ethan Slater (in his Broadway debut), and the all-star roster of songwriters (including Sara Bareilles, Cyndi Lauper, and John Legend) who contributed to the score. The production earned 12 Tony Award nominations including best musical, equaling Mean Girls for the most of any show this season, and while The Band's Visit swept the honors, SpongeBob did score a deserved win for Best Scenic Design of a Musical for David Zinn's scenic design. Following a Chicago tryout during summer 2016, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical opened at Broadway's Palace Theatre during Fall 2017, where it ran for 327 regular performances and 29 previews, defying critical expectations by earning some of the warmest reviews of the season. The show closed in September 2018 to make way for refurbishments at the Palace Theatre.
While many expected a theme park-style brand extension, the show surprised theatergoers with its wild Dadaist comic sensibility, ingenious design and winning performances, notably from gifted 26-year-old newcomer Ethan Slater, making a terrific Broadway debut in the title role.
Early in 2019, school and youth group licensing rights will be available, with professional licensing to follow. A North American tour will begin fall 2019.

Hillenburg graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a master's degree in experimental animation and his undergraduate degree, from Humboldt State University, was in natural science with an emphasis in marine biology. Hillenburg executive produced the series until his untimely passing in November 2018. When Mayor Goodway goes missing during the day of the Great Adventure Bay Race, the pups come to the rescue. Join Ryder, Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma, Sky and Everest for the show’s first tour in across Netherlands and Belgium! Featuring a cast of everybody’s favourite PAW Patrol characters, PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue,” shows that “no job is too big, no pup is too small,” and shares lessons for all ages about citizenship, social skills and problem-solving as the characters each use their unique skills and teamwork.
Each performance will run for one hour and 20 minutes, including two acts and an intermission. All the actors and puppies in the show will speak Swedish.
PAW Patrol Live! – Räddningsloppet engages audiences with Bunraku puppetry, an innovative costuming approach that brings the PAW Patrol characters to life on stage with their vehicles and packs.
“Using Bunraku, puppetry elements are built into costumes worn by real actors to create a wonderful combination of life-size pups and to make a stronger connection with the audience. The PAW Patrol cast sings and dances, which brings a fun, realistic parallel between the animated series and the live show,” says Jim Waters, producer, VStar Entertainment Group.
The performance features up-tempo music and a brand new cleverly written script that is a good introduction to live theatre for kids. Classic theatrical scenery along with a high-tech video wall visually transports families to an authentic PAW Patrol environment, including locations from the TV series, like Adventure Bay, The Lookout, Seal Island, Farmer Yumi's farm and Jake's Mountain.
Special interactive video allows the audience to participate via interviews, solve clues with the Pups, follow Mayor Goodway and much more.

PAW Patrol Live kommer till Sverige 2019

En av världens största turnerande shower för barnfamiljer, PAW Patrol Live, baserad på det populära programmet PAW Patrol på Nick Jr, kommer till Sverige och startar turnén den 2 februari 2019 i Linköping. Showen har varit en publiksuccé i både USA, Australien och Europa och för första gången kommer de hjältemodiga valparna och Paw Patrol Live till Sverige.
Baserad på Nick Jr:s animerade succéserie kommer PAW Patrol Live! ”Räddningsloppet” till Sverige med sin helt nya turné. PAW Patrol Live för allas favoritvalpar upp på scenen för ett actionspäckat, energifyllt och musikaliskt äventyr med hög energi.
När Borgmästare Rospigg försvinner spårlöst under dagen för det stora loppet i Äventyrsbukten, kommer valparna till räddning. Följ med Ryder, Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma, Sky och Everest på deras första turné i Sverige, som börjar i Linköping och Saab Arena den 2 februari. Sverigeturnén avslutas den 30 mars.

Världens mest populära hundar från PAW Patrol gästar Halmstad den 9 mars. Ett riktigt musikaläventyr väntar i Halmstad Arena lördagen den 9 mars. Då kommer dom hjältemodiga valparna från PAW Patrol till Halmstad.
För första gången någonsin gästar hundarna Sverige ”live”. Baserad på det populära programmet PAW Patrol bjuder gänget in till en glittrande familjeföreställning. Showen har haft stora publiksuccéer i USA, Australien och Europa.
Föreställningen innehåller musik med högt tempo och en åldersanpassad berättelse för barn. Med innovativa kostymer levandegörs karaktärerna i PAW Patrol på scen tillsammans med deras fordon och rekvisita. Ett klassiskt teaterlandskap tillsammans med en högteknologisk videovägg transporterar familjer till en autentisk PAW Patrol-miljö, med platser från TV-serierna, som Äventyrsbukten, Utkikstornet, Sälön och Jakes berg.

The multi-award winning SpongeBob SquarePants Musical has announced its next National Tour stop - Boston! This further confirms previously announced plans for a tour of the U.S. during the 2019/2020 season.
The The SpongeBob Musical will be stopping at the Boch Center Wang Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts, where it'll play 16 performances between Tuesday, October 15 – Sunday, November 27, 2019 as part of the Boch Center's upcoming 2019-2020 Broadway and family show lineup at the Wang and Shubert Theatres!
Tickets to see the SpongeBob SquarePants Musical at the Boch Center Wang Theatre will go on sale to the general public on Sunday, March 3 at 10:00AM, and will be available to purchase at the Boch Center Box Office, www.bochcenter.org, by calling 800-982-ARTS (2787) and via Ticketmaster. The critically acclaimed SpongeBob SquarePants musical was named Best Musical by the Drama Desk Awards and Outer Critics Circle and earned 12 Tony Award nominations - the most nominated musical of the 2017-2018 theatre season - including nods for Best Musical, director Tina Landau, book writer Kyle Jarrow, title player Ethan Slater (in his Broadway debut), and the all-star roster of songwriters (including Sara Bareilles, Cyndi Lauper, and John Legend) who contributed to the score. The production earned 12 Tony Award nominations including best musical, equaling Mean Girls for the most of any show this season, and while The Band's Visit swept the honors, SpongeBob did score a deserved win for Best Scenic Design of a Musical for David Zinn's scenic design. The show’s director, Tina Landau, earned a Tony Award nomination for her inventive and unconventional approach to the material that humanized the characters than creating literal representations of the familiar Nickelodeon cartoon.
Following a Chicago tryout during summer 2016, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical opened at Broadway's Palace Theatre during Fall 2017, where it ran for 327 regular performances and 29 previews, defying critical expectations by earning some of the warmest reviews of the season. The show closed in September 2018 to make way for refurbishments at the Palace Theatre.
While many expected a theme park-style brand extension, the show surprised theatergoers with its wild Dadaist comic sensibility, ingenious design and winning performances, notably from gifted 26-year-old newcomer Ethan Slater, making a terrific Broadway debut in the title role.
Early in 2019, school and youth group licensing rights will be available, with professional licensing to follow. A North American tour will begin fall 2019.

Since its launch in July 1999, SpongeBob SquarePants has emerged as a pop culture phenomenon. The series has been the most-watched animated program with kids 2-11 for more than 15 consecutive years, and over the past several years, it has averaged more than 100,000,000 total viewers every quarter across all Nickelodeon networks. SpongeBob SquarePants is the most widely distributed property in Viacom International Media Networks history, seen in more than 208 countries and territories and translated in 55+ languages. The character-driven cartoon chronicles the nautical and sometimes nonsensical adventures of SpongeBob, an incurably optimistic and earnest sea sponge, and his undersea friends in the fictional underwater city of Bikini Bottom. Among those friends are SpongeBob's best friend, a pink starfish named Patrick Star, his neighbor and co-worker octopus Squidward Tentacles, and Sandy Cheeks, a squirrel from Texas.
SpongeBob SquarePants is created by Stephen Hillenburg, who previously worked as a writer, director and creative director on Nickelodeon's animated series Rocko's Modern Life. Hillenburg graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a master's degree in experimental animation and his undergraduate degree, from Humboldt State University, was in natural science with an emphasis in marine biology. Hillenburg executive produced the series until his untimely passing in November 2018. His first feature film, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, which debuted Nov. 19, 2004 and his second theatrical, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, hit theaters Feb. 6, 2015, landing at #1 opening weekend.

The critically acclaimed SpongeBob SquarePants musical was named Best Musical by the Drama Desk Awards and Outer Critics Circle and earned 12 Tony Award nominations - the most nominated musical of the 2017-2018 theatre season - including nods for Best Musical, director Tina Landau, book writer Kyle Jarrow, title player Ethan Slater (in his Broadway debut), and the all-star roster of songwriters (including Sara Bareilles, Cyndi Lauper, and John Legend) who contributed to the score. The production earned 12 Tony Award nominations including best musical, equaling Mean Girls for the most of any show this season, and while The Band's Visit swept the honors, SpongeBob did score a deserved win for Best Scenic Design of a Musical for David Zinn's scenic design. The show’s director, Tina Landau, earned a Tony Award nomination for her inventive and unconventional approach to the material that humanized the characters than creating literal representations of the familiar Nickelodeon cartoon.
Following a Chicago tryout during summer 2016, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical opened at Broadway's Palace Theatre during Fall 2017, where it ran for 327 regular performances and 29 previews, defying critical expectations by earning some of the warmest reviews of the season. The show closed in September 2018 to make way for refurbishments at the Palace Theatre.
While many expected a theme park-style brand extension, the show surprised theatergoers with its wild Dadaist comic sensibility, ingenious design and winning performances, notably from gifted 26-year-old newcomer Ethan Slater, making a terrific Broadway debut in the title role.
Early in 2019, school and youth group licensing rights will be available, with professional licensing to follow. A North American tour will begin fall 2019.

SpongeBob SquarePants first debuted on Nickelodeon USA on May 1, 1999 and is still going strong.
Since its launch in July 1999, SpongeBob SquarePants has emerged as a pop culture phenomenon. The series has been the most-watched animated program with kids 2-11 for more than 15 consecutive years, and over the past several years, it has averaged more than 100,000,000 total viewers every quarter across all Nickelodeon networks. SpongeBob SquarePants is the most widely distributed property in Viacom International Media Networks history, seen in more than 208 countries and territories and translated in 55+ languages. The character-driven cartoon chronicles the nautical and sometimes nonsensical adventures of SpongeBob, an incurably optimistic and earnest sea sponge, and his undersea friends in the fictional underwater city of Bikini Bottom. Among those friends are SpongeBob's best friend, a pink starfish named Patrick Star, his neighbor and co-worker octopus Squidward Tentacles, and Sandy Cheeks, a squirrel from Texas.
SpongeBob SquarePants is created by Stephen Hillenburg, who previously worked as a writer, director and creative director on Nickelodeon's animated series Rocko's Modern Life. Hillenburg graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a master's degree in experimental animation and his undergraduate degree, from Humboldt State University, was in natural science with an emphasis in marine biology. Hillenburg executive produced the series until his untimely passing in November 2018. His first feature film, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, which debuted Nov. 19, 2004 and his second theatrical, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, hit theaters Feb. 6, 2015, landing at #1 opening weekend.
