Viacom International Media Network Americas Opens New Headquarters in Downtown Miami ---ScRaBBlE

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) The Americas today, Wednesday 20th February 2019, opened its brand-new headquarters in downtown Miami, Florida!

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Executive Director Alyce Robertson, VIMN Americas president Pierluigi Gazzolo and VIMN Americas Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Juan Acosta were present at a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the media company's new global headquarters at 3 MiamiCentral, 161 N.W. 6th St.

After being located more than 20 years in Miami Beach, Acosta said VIMN Americas was ready for a change.

"We realized Miami Beach is old news, and now people are setting their sights on downtown," Acosta told the South Florida Business Journal. "Brightline also attracted our interest because its changing the game for commuters. Our employees are based all over the city and as a transportation hub, downtown Miami was better able to service their needs."

VIMN Americas currently has about 120 employees from Latin America, Spain, the Caribbean and Miami.

At the ribbon cutting, Suarez said VIMN's presence in downtown Miami will stimulate the local economy and create more career opportunities for South Florida residents.

"Miami is transitioning from being a Latin American gateway to a truly global city," Suarez said. "Having a company like Viacom as an anchor tenant of 3 MiamiCentral demonstrates that downtown Miami is becoming a center for international business."

The 25,000-square-foot space will serve as the base of operations for the company's portfolio of popular entertainment brands, including Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and MTV. VIMN Americas will focus on programming for audiences in Latin America, Canada and the U.S. Hispanic market.

The space is intended to celebrate Miami and its diversity of Latin American cultures, featuring touches such as a game room with dominoes-themed wallpaper, a "Vinyl Bar" that includes turntables and records, a new mothers room, and multiple lounge and meeting areas.

The VIMN Americas headquarters is located only a few blocks away from the company's recently opened Viacom International Studios (VIS), an 88,000-square-foot production facility.

Robertson said the organization is focusing on recruiting media, financial and tech companies to downtown Miami. The DDA reports there's been a small uptick in the number of media and entertainment companies occupying office space in the city's urban core, with those firms accounting for 6 percent of all new-to-market leases signed between 2013 and the first quarter of 2018.

VIMN Americas isn't the first company to swap Miami Beach for downtown Miami. In November 2018, the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) moved its global headquarters to 3 MiamiCentral, also citing the benefits of Brightline and the area's public transportation connections as a factor that led to the change.

International Broadcasters, Including VIMN Start Moving Broadcast Licences Away From The UK ---ScRaBBlE

Update (22/2/2019): It seems that Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) and MTV Networks are preparing for a no deal Brexit, which has become much more of a possibility over the last month thanks to the UK's incompetent leaders on all sides of the political spectrum (I'm looking at you, May and Corbyn).

The Czech Radio Regulator RRTV (Radio and Television Broadcasting Council) has granted MTV Networks satellite licenses for the continued distribution of Nickelodeon UK, Nick Jr. UK, Nick Jr. Too (UK), Nicktoons UK, Comedy Central UK, Comedy Central + 1 (UK), Comedy Central Extra (UK), MTV UK in Ireland, which will remain a member of the European Union (EU). The licenses are valid for 12 years.

At the same time, the Council informs the EU Member State, Ireland that MTV Networks with its Czech license can be broadcast in its territory.

Additionally, RRTV has granted MTV Networks a satellite licence for its MTV Music 24 channel, which will be broadcast in the following countries: Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa. The license is for a music television channel aimed at young people focusing on American and international productions. MTV Music 24 will be broadcast 24 hours a day in English. The license is valid for 12 years.

At the same time, RRTV informs the EU Member States (European Union), ie Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, that MTV Music 24 has a Czech License.

Anticipating Brexit, broadcasters, including Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), 21st Century Fox, and Viceland have started moving their broadcast licences from the UK.


Seeking an alternative, Viacom International Media Networks has obtained licences in The Netherlands for its bouquet of channels aimed at France audiences: Nickelodeon (France), Nickelodeon Junior (France), Nickelodeon Teen (France), MTV (France), MTV Hits (France), BET (France), and Paramount Channel (France). Also, a number of VIMN channels for Denmark now operate under a Dutch licence.

21st Century Fox has also decided to license National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild in Spain, as well as the Dutch language versions of Fox and National Geographic Channel intended for Flanders, the Dutch speaking part of Belgium. Viceland is now using a Dutch licence for its Dutch and Belgian (Dutch language) channels.

At the moment, more than 750 channels based in Britain and licenced by media regulator Ofcom can currently broadcast throughout the European Union without restriction because Britain is part of the EU’s single market, but this is all set to change after Brexit.

A number of other channel providers with bases in Britain are expected to follow suit, including Discovery, Disney, the Modern Times Group, and Turner Broadcasting.

Pražská společnost MTV Networks může přes satelit vysílat 9 programů s českou licencí. Rozhodl o tom český regulátor médií RRTV (Rada pro rozhlasové a televizní vysílání) na svém posledním čtvrtém zasedání konaném v tomto týdnu.

RRTV udělila MTV Networks satelitní licence pro šíření programů Comedy Central, Comedy Central +1, Comedy Central Extra, MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Nick Jr. Too, Nicktoons pro šíření programů na území Irska. Licence platí 12 let.

Devátá satelitní licence MTV Networks je pro stanici MTV Music 24. Ta se bude vysílat na území těchto zemí: Rakousko, Chorvatsko, Dánsko, Finsko, Německo, Maďarsko, Izrael, Lotyšsko, Litva, Lucembursko, Malta, Nizozemsko, Norsko, Polsko, Portugalsko, Slovinsko, Španělsko, Švédsko, Švýcarsko, Jihoafrická republika. The Department

Consumer Products facilitates the development of merchandise for our Nickelodeon brands through UK retail outlets. They license all types of products with the key areas being: Toys, Books, DVD, Apparel and Video Games.

They do not manufacture and retail the product internally but work with third party companies, “licensees”, who sell our branded product at retail and pay a defined royalty on each item sold. Another key aspect of their business is liaising with all UK retailers from Tesco and Smyth's to Primark to ensure they support Nickelodeon brands by stocking the licensees’ product.

Job Description

Reporting in to the Head of Marketing, this role’s main responsibilities include:

- Support Consumer Products Category and Retail Sales team in the development and execution of account programs designed to sell in franchises, strategic ranges, and retail solutions.

- Use all the assets of the company to devise/execute account-specific CP marketing plans, including:
-- advertising
-- media planning
-- promotions
-- digital
-- events
-- gift w/purchase or added value
-- product solutions with licensing and creative team
-- cross-sell booklets

- Drive retail-specific asset development with in house Creative team and agencies.

- Support retail Events (Road Shows, Expos, etc).

- Create customized sales materials that communicate retail plans for both internal and external stakeholders.

- Manage department documents such as: Product solutions, Brand decks, program one sheets, and Marketing Calendar.

- Be the primary link into internal Nickelodeon functions such as Channel Marketing, Programming and Research to integrate CPl.

- Support the VP Consumer Products on the day to day management of the CP budget

- Manage the CP Marketing Co-ordinator and all UK marketing duties for the UK CP team.

- Planning and running trade and consumer ads, liaising with designers and the creative team at Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products and work directly with Trade Press.

- Manage the Trade Press plan with the CP Marketing Co-ordinator.

- Be the primary contact for CP Marketing for all UK CP Licensees and for all Marketing leads at Retailers.

- Work with VP Consumer Products on all CP Long Range Plan, setting 2 and 3 year marketing strategy for the department – cross functional by Retailer, Brand and Category.

- Embed ROI discipline into the CP Sales team by working with Shopper Insights team on ROI tool to analyse all key Retail Marketing Campaigns, implementation, execution and measure of success/builds.

- Establish key relationships with and work closely with the UK CP Licensee base across all CP and Retail Marketing campaigns, for funding, support, inclusion and execution of Retail Marketing campaigns.

- Set the strategy and delivery of the CP Brand Partnerships/extensions along with Channel Marketing.

- With the CP Marketing Co-ordinator and Event Manager support, manage the bi-annual UK CP Licensee Events, content of presentation, venue, invites, dressing of venue and delivery with those presenting.

- Support VP Consumer products as a key lead member of the UK Consumer Products team.

- Working closely with the CP intern on activities such as:
-- Compiling communication to be sent to licensees.
-- Sourcing Market/Retail information and updates.
-- Sourcing premiums for retail promotions and goody bags for events.
-- Coordinating regular licensee and retail workshops to enhance communication and product sales.
-- Coordinating events such as Brand Licensing Europe and Nickelodeon Annual Showcase (aka Bafta).
-- Collating all marketing materials and updating all presentations/marketing materials/scheduling and rating docs/licensee retailer listings

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have strong presentation skills, be proactive and be able to demonstrate initiative. They will have had prior consumer product experience at a mid senior level, and have a great understanding of retail, maybe from previous experience dealing with retailers and/or licensing. They will have a good understanding of marketing and implementing strategic plans.

They will have great communication skills, and be able to hit the ground running in this role. They will be able to demonstrate excellent teamwork, whilst being about to work under their own initiative and produce excellent results to tight deadlines. Overall they will have a passion for kids’ brands, and show that they have great enthusiasm for Nickelodeon which is essential for this position.

Viacom Africa to Launch Nickelodeon HD on MultiChoice in South Africa on Tuesday 5th March 2019


Johannesburg, 26 February 2019: Viacom International Media Networks Africa (VIMN Africa), with its major distribution partner, MultiChoice, is taking its flagship local youth culture channel to a broader South African audience by launching MTV Base on DStv Access. MTV Base brings subscribers the best of locally produced content from Tuesday, 5 March this year. The Youth and Music entertainment channel airs home grown shows like Gqom Nation with Busisiwa and Ntando Duma, edutainment series MTV Shuga starring Thuso Mbedu and Mohale Motaung along with popular Newsish featuring local VJ talent from Tshego Koke, Farieda Metsileng to recent competition winner Ntandose Mosibi.

At the same time, VIMN Africa will expand its international entertainment offering to the continent with the introduction of MTV Music 24 on the DStv platform in addition to the MTV Africa and MTV Base channels. This new content offering for DStv viewers will air as a simulcast (SD) linear TV service with music videos 24/7/365. MTV Music 24 will feature the latest music videos from all genres, including pop, dance, rock and urban, featuring firm favorites and future hits. It replaces VH1 on the platform from Tueday, 5 March.

VIMN Africa Executive Vice President (EVP) and Managing Director (MD), Alex Okosi said, “As we celebrate the 14th year of establishing VIMN’s local presence on the continent, we continue to value our strong partnership with MultiChoice to deliver great entertainment experiences to subscribers across Africa. The expansion of MTV Base’s reach to DStv Access, the arrival of MTV Music 24 and the upgrade of some of our channels to HD are part of our commitment to provide dynamic channels that speak to diverse audiences.”

The move to HD forms an important part of VIMN Africa’s distribution strategy with MultiChoice with the network launching 4 channels across Southern Africa (SADC): BET, Comedy Central, MTV and MTV Base to high definition next month. Nickelodeon will be available in HD in South Africa at the same time.

By simulcasting (SD/HD) these popular household content brands, MultiChoice ensures that DStv’s offerings are at the forefront of broadcast and content innovation across the continent.

Viacom Launches Paramount+ SVOD Service in Finland in Partnership with Telia ---ScRaBBlE

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has launched its Paramount+ SVOD service in Finland in partnership with broadband, mobile and TV operator Telia!


Paramount+ initially launched in the Nordics in 2017 as a set-top box and TV Everywhere application available to higher tier subscribers of pay TV operators. The Telia partnership marks the first time that the service will be available direct to consumers on a standalone subscription basis.

In the Nordics, Paramount+ offers a first pay TV window for Paramount Pictures’ new movie releases alongside an array of classic films, TV dramas and programming from Viacom-owned brands Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central and Bellator MMA.

The service will be marketed as a standalone branded destination on Telia’s platform. A subscription to Paramount+ will be available to all Telia TV customers for an additional €7.95 per month.

Jesper Dahl, General Manager (GM) for Viacom in the Nordics said: “Paramount+ has proven to be a great success in Nordic markets and we’re delighted to now expand the service in Finland. With Paramount+, our partners can offer their customers exclusive and unique content from Viacom’s broad content portfolio, including kids content from Nickelodeon, new movie releases and classic films from Paramount Pictures’ as well as top performing shows from Comedy Central and MTV.”

Olli-Pekka Takanen, head of TV and media at Telia Finland, said: “We are excited to add new content into Telia TV. Telia TV is a service open to all customers regardless of their operator. This means that anyone in Finland interested in Paramount Pictures’ new movie releases now have the opportunity to sit back and enjoy great movies through Telia TV.”

Following its launch in the Nordics, Viacom has also launched its Paramount+ SVOD service in Hungary in partnership with Magyar Telekom, and in Poland (locally titled Paramount Play) with Toya.

Separately, VIMN has teamed up with Deutsche Telekom AG to launch Nick+, a branded Nickelodeon service on Deutsche Telekom’s MagentaTV service. Launched on Friday 1st March 2019, the partnership includes 900 episodes of Nickelodeon content from animated hits like SpongeBob SquarePants, The Loud House and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as live-action series such as Henry Danger, The Thundermans, and local Nickelodeon Germany production Spotlight.

“Partnering with Deutsche Telekom to bring Nick+ to their SVOD platform represents an important part of our strategy in this region,” said Raffaele Annecchino, President and MD of Viacom International Media Networks Southern and Western Europe, Middle East and Africa cluster.

“The launch of Nick+ not only speaks to the power of the Nickelodeon brand, but is also a great example of the ongoing evolution of our business model to maximize our offer for digital consumers by delivering our content to them on the platforms they prefer.”

Viacom Names Mikko Silvennoinen as it's New Commercial Director for VIMN Nordics ---ScRaBBlE

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), the international division of US firm Viacom, has appointed media and television specialist Mikko Silvennoinen as the new Commercial Director of Viacom International Media Networks Nordics. In his newly appointed role, Silvennoinen will be responsible for the revenue streams of Viacom in the Nordic countries, including advertising sales, content and channel distribution solutions, and identifying new business opportunities for Viacom and portfolio of world class brands, such as Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., MTV, Paramount, Comedy Central and VH1.

Silvennoinen is a media expert and was one of the founders of the legendary music programme Jyrki. He is also known as a producer of YouTubers’ event Tubecon, Finland’s commentator at Eurovision Song Contest, and as a producer of several domestic television programs. During his career, Silvennoinen has worked for MTG Group, as Fox Finland's Program Director, and as Sanoma Media Finland's Children's Media Content and Marketing Director. In recent years, Silvennoinen has worked as a consultant through his own company, oversaw the launch of Viafree, a standalone Finnish AVOD, and worked on content marketing projects for media agency Dagmar (Starcom).

"Viacom is at the forefront of exploring new ways to share content. The company's portfolio includes the world's strongest brands, reaching out to a wide audience, ranging from children to adults. Jumping excitedly and looking forward to creating new partnership models, various online and offline activities, and distribution solutions for Viacom's content," Silvennoinen said in a statement.

In his role as the commercial director for Viacom in the Nordic countries, Silvennoinen will act as the head of the sales team, currently staffed by six people. He will report to Jesper Dahl, General Manager (GM) for Viacom in the Nordics.

"We are very happy to have Miko on the Viacom team. He has extensive experience in various types of media, diverse target groups and new platforms where brands and consumers meet. We believe that Mikko joining will be a great support for both Viacom and our partnerships and further strengthens our brand and product range in the Nordic countries,” says Dahl.

Silvennoinen started work in his new role on Monday 4th March 2019. He will work in both Finland and Sweden.

Viacom Africa Launches Nickelodeon Channel with Portuguese Soundtrack on MultiChoice in Angola ---ScRaBBlE

MultiChoice Angola adds Viacom's Nickelodeon kids channel in Portuguese to DStv.


MultiChoice Angola has added Viacom International Media Networks' (VIMN) Nickelodeon kids channel in Portuguese to DStv, further extending Nickelodeon's presence across the African continent.

Nickelodeon in Portuguese will be available on the DStv Bué and DStv Mega packages in Angola.

MultiChoice Angola as a satellite pay-TV operator, is run as a franchise division in that country by Jembas Assistência Tecnica.

Nickelodeon in Portuguese was added on Monday 4th March 2019 in Angola on DStv channel 573, with Viacom Africa making the announcement of the channel addition on Friday 8th March 2019.

"Extending our brand offering in a more engaging and accessible way across Africa is key to our growth strategy," says Alex Okosi, the Executive Vice President (EVP) and Managing Director (MD) of Viacom International Media Networks Africa (VIMN Africa) & BET International.

"Our much-loved Nickelodeon brand in Portuguese will enable a deeper connection for kids and families in Angola."

Eduardo Continentino, MultiChoice Angola general manager, says "this channel is a direct representation of how DStv is committed to investing in content".

"By customising an offer to better resonate and align with the needs of Angolan children and youth audiences, DStv shows that customers are indeed at the heart of all decisions made. We believe that this channel will add value to our existing channels grid."

Nickelodeon is one of leading children's channels in Africa, especially in the French-speaking part of the continent. According to the French survey firm Kantar TNS, the children's channel is the most watched in sub-Saharan Africa on the Canal + platform. At the end of 2018, Canal + counted around 4.1 million subscribers on the continent.

The launch of the new Nickelodeon in Angola follows Viacom Africa launching Nickelodeon HD in South Africa, in partnership with its major distribution partner, MultiChoice, on Tuesday 5th March 2019.

Viacom to Launch Nicktoons Hungary on Telekom in April 2019 [Update: NickToons Hungary Soft Launches] ---ScRaBBlE

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) will strengthen its portfolio in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region with the launch of a localised Nicktoons channel in Hungary in April 2019! NickToons Hungary (Magyarország) is slated to launch on the on the Magyar Telekom platform on Tuesday 2nd April 2019.


Update (17/2): Nickelodeon has soft-launched NickToons Magyarország, ahead of its official launch in April 2019! As speculated, Nicktoons Magyarország is a simulcast of Nicktoons Poland (Polska) with a Hungarian soundtrack. The channel launched on Tuesday 12th February 2019 and currently broadcasts commercials in English, however, localised advertisements are expected to appear on the channel nearer its official launch. A Romanian soundtrack is also expected to be added in the future. Update (17/3): A Romanian soundtrack has now been added to the channel.

Update (20/2): The Hungary-based media sales house R-time will handle ad-sales for NickToons Magyarország!

NickToons Magyarország will join VIMN's two other dedicated children's channels in Hungary: Nickelodeon Magyarország (a version of Nickelodeon Central and Eastern Europe with a Hungarian soundtrack) for kids aged 4-12 years old, and Nick Jr. Magyarország (a version of Nick Jr. CEE with a Hungarian soundtrack) for children aged 2-6 years. Nicktoons is expected to be aimed towards boys and girls aged 6-to-10 years.

Although unconfirmed, it is thought that NickToons Magyarország will be a simulcast of Nicktoons Poland (Polska), which launched last year. The channel is already designed for international markets, and uses generic on-air design (including bumpers and idents). Nickelodeon commenced testing for a Hungarian version of Nicktoons on the channel during Autumn 2018 by transmitting episodes of Bunsen Is a Beast and SpongeBob SquarePants with a Hungarian audio track on the English audio channel, so it's highly likely this will be the Nicktoons channel that will become available in Hungary.

Nicktoons Magyarország will air a wide range of programming from Nickelodeon's vast library of hit animated series, including SpongeBob SquarePants (SpongyaBob Kockanadrág), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Tini Nindzsa Teknőcök), Bunsen Is a Beast (Bunsen, a bestia), Sanjay and Craig (Sanjay és Craig), T.U.F.F. Puppy (S.T.R.A.M.M. - A kém kutya), King Fu Panda, Avatar the Last Airbender (Avatár - Aang legendája), The Legend of Korra (Korra legendája), Penguins of Madagascar (A Madagaszkár pinginvjei), Rabbids Invasion (Rabbids: Invázió), Harvey Beaks (Csőrös Harvey), Pig Goat Banana Cricket (Malac, Kecske, Banán, Tücsök), Breadwinners (Kenyérkirályok), and ToonMarty, and launch new series, including Welcome to the Wayne (Üdv a Wayne-ben vagy), Mysticons and The Adventures of Kid Danger (Veszélyes Tini kalandjai). Nicktoons is currently available on multiple markets around the world, including in the USA, UK, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Japan and Turkey.

The news follows Viacom launching the SVOD service Paramount+, featuring Nickelodeon programming in Hungary, and the launch of Nicktoons Russia (Россия) in December 2018.

Új gyerekcsatorna indul Magyarországon: jön a NickToons

2018. februárjában Lengyelországban elindult a NickToons nevű rajzfilmcsatorna, a Nickelodeon társcsatornája. Egy évvel később nálunk is bemutatkozik a csatorna.

A gyerekcsatornák piaca elég telítettnek tűnik perpillanat, a Nickelodeon anyavállalata mégis bevállalja, hogy új szereplővel lép be a magyarok otthonába. Egy évvel a lengyel indulása utána, Magyarországra is megérkezik a NickToons. A csatorna már akkor a nemzetközi piacra lett tervezve, ugyanis a csatorna azonosítói, bumperjei mind feliratmentesen kerültek adásba, így biztos, hogy ez a változat érkezik meg hozzánk is, a régióban másodikként.

Tavaly ősszel már tesztelni kezdték a magyar hangsávot. A Bunsen, a bestia vagy a SpongyaBob Kockanadrág egy-egy epizódja is magyar nyelven került adásba az angol sávon. Azóta természetesen a tesztek véget értek, ám a magyar hangsáv továbbra is rajta van a csatornán, csupán a műsorok és a szünetek angolul mennek.

A NickToonson olyan népszerű animációs műsorok mennek, mint a már említett SpongyaBob Kockanadrág, de itt látható még A Madagaszkár pingvinjei, a Kung fu Panda, a két Avatár-sorozat (Anng legendája és Korra legendája), korábbi sorozatok közül pedig a Sanjay és Crag vagy a S.T.R.A.M.M., a kémkutya is látható. A csatorna indulásával új sorozatok is bemutatkoznak. Olyanok, mint a Mysticons, az Üdv a Wayne-ben vagy a Veszélyes Tini kalandjai.

A csatorna érkezéséről egyébként a Telekom lakossági közleménye árulkodott:

"2019. április 1-jei és 2019. április 2-i változás: Érintett szolgáltatás: Valamennyi szolgáltatás Módosítás lényegének rövid leírása: Az IPTV és a műholdas (SAT) televízió hálózaton nyújtott Családi, Családi+HD, Szuper Családi HD, Szuper Családi HD 201809 és az IPTV hálózaton nyújtott Szuper Családi Mozi díjcsomagokban a DoQ csatorna 2019. április 1. napjától kezdődően megszűnik. Az érintett csomagokban a megszűnő csatorna helyett 2019. április 2. napjától kezdődően a NickToons csatorna kerül elosztásra "

Vagyis ez azt jelenti, hogy a NickToons hivatalos magyar rajtja április 2-án lesz, egyelőre biztosan a Telekom platformjain.

Érkezik a Nicktoons

A Viacom hazánkban is elindítja Nicktoons nevű, a 4-10 éves korosztályt megcélzó rajzfilmcsatornáját.

Az óvodás korúakat megcélzó Nick Jr és a szélesebb korcsoportnak (4-14 éveseknek) szánt, bár leginkább a kistinik körében népszerű Nickelodeon után a Viacom hazánkban is elindítja elsősorban rajzfilmeket sugárzó, a már jelenlévő két csatorna által hagyott korosztályos űrt kitöltő csatornáját, Nicktoons néven.

A csatorna pontos indulási dátuma jelenleg nem ismert, annyi biztos, hogy a Telekom kínálatában április második napjától válik elérhetővé (A szolgáltatónál már bevált gyakorlat, hogy a hónap első keddjén módosítja csatornalistáját. Néhány kivétellel igaz ez, hiszen a csatornalista-módosítást a hamarosan induló Moziverzum és Jocky TV esetében február második keddjén végzik majd el). Így az indulás lehet már akár valamikor március folyamán is, vagy csak április legelején, de akár már februárban is, hiszen a szolgáltató egy március végén lejáró szerződés helyére emeli csak be a csatornát.

A Telekom tájékoztatása szerint a Nicktoons csatorna a kínálatból kikerülő DoQ helyére kerül. A szolgáltató SAT TV platformján minden bizonnyal SD minőségben kerül a kínálatba, IPTV-n viszont a HD is elképzelhető, hiszen a DoQ itt így is jelen van, a Szuper Családi Mozi csomagban.

Már most elindult a magyar Nicktoons

Illetve a "most" relatívan kezelendő, ugyanis már 12-étől él a magyar hangsáv a csatornán ,emlyen minden műsor megkapta a maga szinkronját.

Ahogy azt korábban már jeleztük, itthon is elindul áprilisban a Nicktoons. Ám úgy tűnik egy korai rajtot már február 12-én megejtett a csatorna, ugyanis élessé vált a magyar hangsáv. Ez annyit tesz, hogy minden műsor, melynek készült magyar szinkron már megkapta a maga anyagait. A reklámszünetek egyelőre angolul hallhatóak még a magyar sávon is, így a tényleges indulásra kell még várni.

A már bejelentett sorozatokon kívül magyar szinkront kapott még a Toon Marty, a Malac, Kecske, Banán, Tücsök és a Kenyérkirályok is. Alább megnézhettek egy rövidke összeállítást a magyar-angol sávról és pár új sorozat főcímdalát.

A Nicktoons hivatalos magyar rajtja április elején lesz, első körben biztosan megjelenik már a Telekomnál.

Az R-time értékesíti az induló gyerekcsatorna felületeit

A 4-10 éves gyerekeknek szánt Nicktoons-szal bővül az R-time portfóliója.

Áprilistól újabb, gyerekeknek szóló rajzfilmcsatornával bővül az R-time portfóliója. „A 4-10 éves korosztálynak szánt Nicktoons tökéletes kiegészítője lesz az idősebb gyerekeknek élőszereplős és animációs sorozatokat nyújtó Nickelodeon-nak, illetve az óvodás korúaknak szóló Nick Jr-nak" - fogalmaz az R-time közleménye.

„Örömünkre szolgál, hogy alig négy hónappal azután, hogy bejelentettük a History csatorna reklámértékesítését, máris egy újabb csatornával bővül az R-time csatornaportfóliója. A Viacom ismét egy minőségi, ízig-vérig családi csatornát hozott el a magyar piacra, ami messzemenően illeszkedik a már meglévő R-time televíziós portfólióba.” – fogalmazott Dudás Gergely, az R-time ügyvezetője.

A Nicktoons műsorán többek között olyan animációs sikersorozatok is láthatóak lesznek, mint a Kung Fu Panda: A rendkívüliség legendája, az Alviiin!!! és a mókusok, a SpongyaBob Kockanadrág, a Tündéri keresztszülők, az Üdv a Wayne-ben! és a Madagaszkár pingvinjei.

Ezzel a műsorral indul a Nicktoons

Azt már tudjátok, hogy milyen premiereket hoz el áprilisban a Nicktoons, most ideje megtudni, hogy milyen műsortervezettel lépnek be a magyar piacra.

Már többször is említettük, hogy körülbelül milyen műsorok lesznek láthatóak az új gyerekcsatornán. Áprilistól a Nicktoonson lesz több olyan sorozat is, melyek már nem láthatóak a Nickelodeonon. De legfőképp az emelhető, hogy hűen a csatorna nevéhez csak animációs sorozatok kerülnek képernyőre.

A Nicktoonson visszaköszön néhány olyan cím is, mely jelenleg is fut a fő csatornán (Nickelodeon), mint pl. az elmaradhatatlan SpongyaBob Kockanadrág, vagy az Alvinnn! és a mókusok és a Tündéri keresztszülők. Illetve vannak címek, melyek itthon más csatornákon, felületeken is megtalálhatóak: Kung fu Panda, A Madagaszkár pingvinjei vagy az Avatár - Aang legendája.

Korábban futó és az elmúlt időszakban nem műsoron levő sorozatok is lesznek a csatornán. A Rabbids: Invázió, a Tini Nindzsa Teknőcök, a Korra legendája vagy a Sanjay és Craig ebbe a kategóriába esnek bele, de még régebbi sorozatként a S.T.R.A.M.M. és a Fanboy és Chum Chum képviselteti magát.

Az új sorozatokról pedig már tudtok, jön a Kenyér királyok, a Kergefarm, a ToonMarty és az Üdv a Wayne-ben! Most pedig nézzétek meg a Nicktoons műsortervezetét.

A Nicktoons április 1-jén indul nálunk, várhatóan a legtöbb szolgáltatónál megtalálható lesz. Ami biztos, hogy a Telekom és a Digi már az első napokban beilleszti a kínálatába a csatornát.
